Hi! I’m Iris.

I help organizations communicate the story of who they are and what they do.

Communication is about connection.

Marketing & communications is about understanding the people you are servicing or selling to. It’s about connecting with them on the why – why you do what you do – and how you solve their problems with what you do. This is as important for non-profits as it is for corporates. And it can be difficult to get this story right, when you are focused on doing the work.

This is where I come in.

I bring a fresh perspective, lots of enthusiasm, and knowledge of what you could call “impact” – gender, diversity, inclusion, sustainability, impact investing, international development & more. If you are in the business of change-making, I will help you with a marketing / communications strategy, and its implementation.

I'm passionate about bringing your story to life.

I love being allowed into the the different "worlds" of my clients. This diversity in my work is why I love communications. I may be creating a communications strategy one day, organizing a conference the next day, and running a series of interviews for a campaign the same week. I love writing and communicating in all its variations. I use creativity to get a story across to your audience, and this enthusiasm is noticeable in the way I go about my work.

I only work with organizations and professionals who are committed to doing more than solely making profit, because I believe that the future depends on them. I work with a freelance pool of (amazing!) women who believe the same.

All-round communication support for organizations on a mission.

Whether you call it purpose-driven, social impact, social enterprise, B corp, or sustainable … if you or your organization identify anywhere along the ‘spectrum of impact’, I’ll gladly work with you. I also promise to get rid of jargon in your online communications, because filtering out jargon is a major part of communications work. 😉 Have a look at the Services page or simply send an email – I’m always happy to hear from you.
