Impact investing
I am learning about and involved in impact investing in various ways. Ideally I’d like to find ways to do impact investing with an intersectional impact lens – taking into account a gender lens, a climate lens, a race lens, and so on.
Power in philanthropy
I interviewed and spoke with over 20 individuals from around the world throughout the second half of 2020. We discussed power structures in traditional philanthropic work, what it means to donate money, how to ‘give well’ – or what not to do. As with many other things, there’s no one golden rule and everybody chooses a style that fits them best. More on this project and the beautiful variety of perspectives soon.
